:)!!! Miss this town, miss my pops, miss Dos, miss youuu.
I’m talking to Kina right now about how we are soul sisters (example: she is telling me about how she bought this new face wash today that is made out of avocados and oatmeal and how she knows I would want to eat it and it just so turns out I WAS EATING AVOCADOS WHEN SHE TOLD ME ANDDD I HAD OATMEAL FOR BREAKFAST TODAY) and I was saying how I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since I’ve been home. But in reality, it feels like it’s been at least a year since I’ve been in Portsmouth. 4 months is really all it’s been?!

I MISS CHRISTCHURCH. I don’t know if this is what Sol Square looks like these days, but I miss its neatness.
Talking with Abby last night while she was at the bar with Aaron hanging out before his band played a show made me soooo homesick for kiwi land. Not to mention, we watched a House Hunters episode about a family uprooting to NZ two days ago! I just wanna be back there, hanging out drinking beers with friends at fun bars, driving around finding adventures, playing on the beach, and exploring the mountains.
Soonsoonsooooon though. Soon.
I love snowy mountains. I am in awe of their hugeness and gloriousness. Yeah there are mountains in NH, but not super close to where I lived, so I was never really around them constantly. And out here in the valley, we are between some pretty mountains, but they aren’t the huuuuuge, towering, amazing kind. Going up to the mountains as a kid to ski was always so exciting for me and my yearly trips out to Utah to visit my family, where we’d go camping and hiking through giant snow-capped mountains in the summers and skiing down them in the winters…loved that so much. And when I went to Austria and skiied through a whiteout in the Alps…ridiculous. Driving out west, through the Rockies in Colorado especially, I just felt in amazement at them and decided that I really love being surrounded by them. Except really I decided that whilst living amongst the Southern Alps in New Zealand…I was simply reminded of my mountain love on our road trip (and every time I see a picture of these pretty things). I just really am meant to live in New Zealand, where it’s mostly always warm and definitely always awesome and I can be playing on the beach or hiking in a rainforest or hangin by a lake and be surrounded by beautiful monstrous mountains wherever I am. That place is just the best, okay?!
